Wart Removal
Warts are hardened, rough skin lumps caused by an infection known as human papillomavirus (HPV). Although these are harmless, warts are contagious and can spread from one individual to another simply by coming into contact with the virus.

Available Treatments
We combine the use of Co2 and 1064 laser technology for wart removal. The dual laser system is very effective, and most warts are permanently removed after 1-2 treatments.
Comparing to other removal methods, the laser procedure is much more efficient. It can precisely target and ablate the wart without damaging the surrounding tissue. Not only is it capable of removing the hard skin, but it also coagulate the wart and the tiny blood vessels that feed the wart near the “dermis” of the skin, causing the wart to dry up over time.

What are warts?
Wart usually appears as a small growth on the skin that may look like a solid blister or a small cauliflower, oftentimes relatively small, hardened lumps that are round and elevated from the skin. Its types include common warts, flat warts, genital warts, plantar warts, and periungual warts.
Types of warts
Periungual warts
More irregular than other kinds, usually affecting the edges of fingernails and toenails. They can also develop under the nails.
Genital warts
These often appear on the penis, anus, vulva, vagina, or cervix. They are generally more contagious and are more easily spread than other warts. They are spread by skin-to-skin contact and can be spread to other parts of the body through sexual activity.
Flat warts
These most commonly appear on the face and neck have a thin and thread-like appearance. Flat warts are a type that can appear on the face, neck, chest, knees, hands, wrists or forearms. They are formed in clusters of up to several hundred tiny lumps at a time.
Plantar warts
Located on the soles of the feet, these often have black dots which are clotted blood vessels. Mosaic warts can be formed when there are clusters of plantar warts, which can be painful.
What causes warts?
Plantar warts are caused by human papillomavirus (HPV), specifically types 1, 2, 4, 60, and 63. HPV needs an entry point, it could enter through cracks in dry skin, through cuts, scrapes or through softened skin. It then causes the cells in the skin to multiply very quickly at a certain point, forming a lump of skin.
While the lesions usually spread through contact with others, not everyone who is exposed to HPV will develop them. If the virus spreads from the first area of infection, more warts may appear.
