Cosmetic Medical Clinic in Sydney uses the powerful LBO laser system IDAS for the removal of spider veins and other superficial veins. IDAS is the specialist laser in the removal of superficial vascular skin changes. The light with 532 nm wavelength only penetrates about 0.1 to 1mm into the skin and superficial skin changes in the face and on the body are treated effectively whilst protecting the surrounding epidermis.
About the IDAS procedure
The IDAS procedure uses a 532nm wavelength that is specifically designed to treat superficial vascular changes that occur on the face and in the body. The 532nm wavelength provides great power and versatility, offering both pulse and continuous wavelength modes. This makes it suitable for smaller surgical procedural indications.
There is no downtime following the treatment.
What does the IDAS Laser do?
The versatile IDAS system quickly and safely removes superficial pigmentation and vascular skin changes in the face and on the body, including:
The 8-watt IDAS is one of the most powerful laser systems of its class. Its high power allows it to target vessels effectively with short, intense pulses and big spot sizes from 0.2 to 2 mm. Superficial vascular and pigmented skin changes in the face and on the body are thus fought very effectively, protecting the surrounding tissue and the epidermis. Red vessels are often visibly reduced in only one session, making IDAS a highly effective rosacea treatment.
