CO2 Fractional Skin Resurfacing
About the procedure
The EXEL02 Co2 Fractional Skin Resurfacing procedure is used for visible skin correction. This procedure is German engineered, making it a safer, dependable and more efficient laser. It is able to tighten skin, improve scars and stretch marks, repair sun damaged skin, reduce age spots, blemishes and large pores, blend uneven skin tone, and treat melasma and syringoma.
Much like the Pixel Fractional Laser, the EXELO2 Fractional laser skin resurfacing creates thousands of microscopic ablative thermal channels (perforations) in the skin’s surface that stimulate the body’s natural healing process. Unlike the Pixel, which uses a wavelength of 2940nm, EXELO2 goes much deeper with a wavelength of 10,600nm to focus on the stimulation of collagen in the skin to reduce wrinkles. The EXELO2 was designed exclusively for fractional skin resurfacing to create the optimal balance of depth and thermal zones, which increases results while decreasing pain and recovery times.
For a full face laser skin resurfacing procedure, a topical anesthetic is needed and most patients experience between 5 – 10 days of downtime. The CO2 laser skin resurfacing system offers the integration of the Zimmer Cryo 6 Chiller to supply the optimal amount of cooling (down to -30° C) to the epidermis, dramatically increasing patient comfort and decreasing potential side-effects during treatments.
The Cosmetic Medical Clinic is a leading provider of the CO2 laser procedure in Sydney. With its 10,600nm wavelength, the EXELO2 Fractional CO2 laser procedure is used for visible skin rejuvenation through the treatment of wrinkles, scars and pigment changes. EXELO2 combines micro-fine ablation zones for skin renewal and intense thermal stimulation for neo-synthesis of collagen. This leads to an optimal balance of good clinical and aesthetic results and faster healing with minimal side-effects.
