Skin Resurfacing Treatment
What is Co2 FSR?
The Co2 Fractional Skin Resurfacing (FSR) procedure is used for visible skin correction. This procedure is German engineered, making it a safer, dependable and more efficient laser.
About the Procedure
For a full face Co2 FSR procedure, a topical anaesthetic is needed and most patients experience around 5 – 7 days of downtime. The Co2 FSR system offers the integration of the Zimmer Cryo 6 Chiller to supply the optimal amount of cooling (down to -30° C) to the epidermis, dramatically increasing patient comfort and decreasing the potential of side effects occurring during treatments.
The CO2 FSR creates thousands of microscopic ablative thermal channels (perforations) in the skin’s surface that stimulate the body’s natural healing process.
What can this procedure do for me?
The Co2 FSR procedure utilises a high quality, dependable laser to rejuvenate skin and treat wrinkles, as well as scars and pigment changes. It also reduces wrinkles whilst tightening the skin, repairs sun damaged skin, reduces age spots and large pores, and finally treats pigmentation.
How long will it take to heal?
The healing process will take about five to seven days before regenerating new skin.
Is it safe for every skin type?
Yes it is, one of the main benefits of Co2 FSR is that it is safe for all skin types and colours.
How long until I begin to see results?
Results will be visible after 5 – 7 days. However, the exact timing will vary from person to person. Further improvement could take up to 6 months.
Am I able to wear makeup after the procedure?
No, because the skin is sensitive after the procedure. You may resume wearing makeup after the skin has completely recovered.
Am I able to exercise after the procedure?
No, not until all of the skin is dried and peeled after seven days.
